My engaging presentations walk audiences through a perspective-shifting journey of self-remembering, aligning our big five intrinsic motivators that amplify personal and team success. With a diverse background as a student-athlete, corporate District Manager, serial entrepreneur, and competitive powerlifter, I provoke individuals to disarm burnout, choose flow, and commit to playing the infinite game of life. This presentation adds fuel to internal flames, reassures gut feelings of one's authentic self, and provides the utmost clarity and certainty of having a positive transition that leads to a fulfilling life.
This presentation helps student-athletes go from triggered to triumph using our 4 Bridge Framework: Triggered, Transition, Transformation, Triumph. We cover everything from the perspective shift of embracing flow triggers to the skills needed to navigate each bridge, and how the journey is cyclical throughout life. It will add fuel to their internal flames providing them the clarity and certainty that they're on the right trajectory in life once they're playing career ends.
There's a big misconception when it comes to personal branding. The word "build" is often used regarding this topic. Personal brands aren't built, they're uncovered. Business brands/products are made in offices/factories. Personal brands are made in the hearts and minds of people. Student-Athlete's already have their brand story, they just need to do the work to uncover it and present it to the world. It's less about going down the path of self-discovery and more about engaging in self-remembering.
When it comes to dominating the infinite game of life, motivation is how we get in the game and learning is how we stay in the game. Lifelong learning keeps the brain sharp, preventing both cognitive decline and training up memory. It also boosts confidence, communication skills, and career opportunities, which can truly set student-athletes up for their life after sports transition.
There are 4 skills to dominating the infinite game of life: Motivation, Learning, Creativity, and Flow. Motivation is what gets you into this game; learning is what helps you continue to play; creativity is how you steer; and flow is how you turbo-boost the results beyond all rational standards and reasonable expectations. The same applies to student-athletes navigating their life after sports transition.
