Student-Athletes gain clarity on intrinsic motivation, strategies for productivity within/outside their sport, and become aligned with their purpose through our interactive, discussion-based workshops.
This workshop helps student-athletes go from triggered to triumph using our 4 Bridge Framework: Triggered, Transition, Transformation, Triumph. We cover everything from the perspective shift of embracing flow triggers to the skills needed to navigate each bridge, and how the journey is cyclical throughout life. Each bridge can be a workshop on its own or a full year of workshops to serve student-athletes through the "typical" freshman to senior timeframe.
Peak Performance is getting our biology to work for us rather than against us. This is primarily done through flow, an optimal state of consciousness where we feel our best and perform our best. In sports, it's known as "being in the zone" but flow can happen anywhere by anyone as long as certain pre-conditions are met. These conditions are called flow triggers. And flow is one of four skills needed for student-athletes to become lifelong learners and dominate the infinite game of life.
Examples of peak performance results that neuroscience research has found:
"What on earth are you doing?" I asked the monkey when I saw him lift a fish from the water and place it in a tree. "I'm saving it from drowning." was the reply. This parable perfectly captures the state of athletics now: admin attempting to help/save student-athletes when in reality they're causing more harm than good.
